MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
Our Remodelers Council also excelled with Bill Kimberl (2013
Builder of the Year) as Chair, presenting excellent educational
programs and honoring top remodelers through the Remodelers
Showcase Awards.…and President Shane led the celebration
as the Leon County Commission declared June as Home
Remodeling Month.
Membership recruitment and retention is always a top priority at
TBA and builder Alan Weekley did a super job leading that effort,
along with top recruiters Mark Worley and Drexal Harris.
New members were welcomed to TBA and oriented to our
benefits, programs, and projects.
Thanks in large part to the work of Larry Wayne Strickland, 34 TBA
members participated in the North Florida Home Show which gave
us the opportunity to tell our TBA story to over 5,000 show visitors.
The TBA Parade of Homes was a successful event with 29 entries,
great traffic and sales… hats off to Co-Chairs Thomas Asbury Jr.
and Mark Worley, as well as as well as Robby Hartsfield and his
Best in Show home.
TBA forged a strong relationship in 2013 with the Tallahassee
Area Chamber of Commerce, thanks in large part to Mike Roberts
(2013 President’s Awards winner) of Roberts Sand Company, who
worked hard to win a TBA seat on the Chamber Board.
Stan Derzypolski did great work as Chair of the Member
Consumer and Education Committee in 2013. Among the
MCEC’s community projects was support of TBA member Jerry
Linder in building a Habitat home for a single mom in Tallahassee.
