MEET YOUR PRESIDENT
Masoud Karimipour of Persica Homes
He brings a servant-leadership style to his role as
President of the Tallahassee Builders Association.
When you grow up the youngest of 13 children, once lived
in a war-torn region of the world where not even your
next breath can be taken for granted, and survived two
bouts with cancer, you gain a deep appreciation for life and
the desire to make the most of each day.
Perhaps that explains the warm, welcoming and perpetual
smile on the face of Masoud Karimipour as well as the
servant-leader style he brings to the presidency of the
Tallahassee Builders Association (TBA) in 2014.
“My father (Muhammad Ali Karimipour) was a builder in a
small town in south Iran and my most vivid memories are of him helping people by building
their homes at a fair price and with his own financing, and building schools so all the children
could be educated,” says Karimipour, the owner of Persica Homes. “I learned that service is
a great source of joy and there is no better feeling than helping others achieve their dreams.”
Since he formed Persica in 1991, Karimipour has been turning homebuyers’ dreams into
reality by first building rapport and trust, then delivering a well-designed, quality-built product
replete with the Green and energy-efficient features, the latest in products and services, and
special touches – like mud rooms – that enhance functionality and livability. His standard
home is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath ranging from 2,200 to 3,000 square feet, but his design skills
allow him to quickly adapt to the needs of clients with varying lifestyle needs.
Karimipour sees great things for TBA in 2014. “Our association was crippled by the housing
recession but the positive aspect was that our members took ownership of TBA…they
resolved to make us strong and relevant, and we’re clearly on that path,” said Karimipoiur.
