BANGKOK, THAILAND –
As the preferred solution in the
Caribbean and Latin American markets, Forward offers customers
e-Air Waybill (e-AWB) connectivity to over 90 airlines through the
Worldwide Information Network (WIN)’s online platform.
Independent forwarders using Forward can now participate
in e-AWB, save time, improve accuracy, avoid carrier manual
processing fees and enjoy real-time shipment visibility.
“When business demands high-volume messaging to successfully manage
supply chain transactions, easy and complete integration is critical,” said
Mariano Posbeyikian, Marketing & Implementation Manager, Forward.
"Developing interfaces allows us to host the necessary components
for Forward to connect with external applications, granting
information integrity.”
Daniel Tarditti, Managing Partner of Rush Cargo, said when
shipping scientific samples for customers, there must be a high
standard of care taken to ensure the samples arrive intact.
“Efficient sample delivery in the biopharmaceutical industry is of
utmost importance,” he said.
“The track-and-trace feature of the WIN connectivity platform
offers real-time visibility, allowing our customers to efficiently
monitor time critical cargo, and ensuring it arrives safely and on
time to its destination.”
“We are both a handler and a forwarder, meaning we often had to
input data into the system over and over again, which was a waste
of time and resources,” said Jose Neder, Cargo Operations Manager,
Caribetrans, S.A.S.
“Since using the WIN interface, it has both simplified and sped up
the process, resulting in savings in terms of costs and time, as well as
allowing us to focus on other areas of the business.”
“Advanced logistics solution providers such as Forward are increasingly
opting for our new breed of real-time web-service APIs rather than
obsolete EDI platforms for airline connectivity and shipment visibility.
