WCA North American
Partner of the Year

announced recently they have been
honored by the World Cargo Alliance
("WCA") as the recipient of the WCA's
"North American Partner of the Year."
News of the honor was received at the
WCA’s annual awards ceremonies –held in
Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Present in Abu Dhabi to receive the award on behalf of BTX Global
Logistics were Dave Kemmer, VP of International Services, and Tim
McElroy, VP of Ocean Services. "The overall ability of BTX to deliver
a top level of service to our clients is due in no small part to our rela-
tionship with the WCA and its member group," says Kemmer. "Rec-
ognition as the WCA's North American Partner of the Year illustrates
the extent to which BTX delivers for member clients as well."

New Laredo, Texas Office
Joins AIT Worldwide
Logistics’ Global Network
ITASCA, IL –
A new office in Laredo, Texas has opened its doors
today as the latest addition to AIT Worldwide Logistics’ global
network. Overseeing AIT-Laredo are AIT-McAllen Branch Managers
Ruben Garza and Raul Rendon who have 32 years of combined
supply chain management experience.
The station is housed in a C-TPAT certified building with access to
120,000 square feet of warehouse space, 34 dock doors and a yard
that can securely accommodate as many as 75 trailers. Other benefits
including reliable operating systems and advanced safety features add
up to make the facility an excellent choice for the new office.
While AIT-Laredo will offer a complete range of supply chain
services, their location near the U.S./Mexican border makes the office
ideally situated to provide in-house U.S. and Mexican Customs
brokerage and maquiladora import services.
