Roanoke Trade Presents

a Risk Management Webinar Series

A Risk Management Webinar Series, hosted by Roanoke Trade in

2016, is made up of four risk management related presentations

given by Roanoke employees and co-presenters who are experts in

their related fields.

The first two webinars of the series were presented in February and

April and are currently available on-demand. Two additional webinars

are scheduled for September and October and registration is now

open. This risk management webinar series is geared towards freight

forwarders, customs brokers and other logistics service professionals

and are designed to enhance awareness of potential risks in day-to-day

operations and provide potential solutions to help manage them.

Webinars are presented from 1-2pm CT and the line-up is as follows:

foot print with qualified individuals in new markets.

Steve Love has been appointed Vice President of the International

Department for Saturn Freight Systems. He is based out of the

corporate office in Marietta, GA. Steve will be tasked with the

responsibility of increasing Saturn’s international business through

the development of our existing stations as well as increasing the

overseas agent business.

Steve has been in the transportation/logistics industry for 35 plus

years. Involved in all aspects of management both sales & operations,

and bringing to Saturn a vast knowledge of Air & Ocean import &

export experience.

Air cargo is a critical component of the global freight supply chain.

U.S. air carriers transport over 65 million revenue ton-miles of

cargo each year. And this number is expected to rise with contin-

ued growth in freight transportation.

While growing demand for air cargo services is good news for busi-

ness, the aviation industry faces a challenge similar to other industries:

How to meet increasing expectations for corporate transparency and

sustainability, while still paying close attention to the bottom line.

Air cargo professionals and other forward-thinking business

leaders recognize the importance of freight transport to supply

chain performance. One area where these interests overlap is in

the connections among fuel efficiency, climate change and carbon

accounting. Becoming more fuel efficient saves companies money,

while cutting carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.
