submitted plans with the DC Zoning
Commission to redevelop the 301-331 N
Street, NE site. The site bridges the gap
between Union Market and the NOMA
district, and is adjacent to the NOMA/
Gallaudet Metro Station. At completion,
the overall project will consist of four
integrated buildings totaling 462,500
gross square feet that include 367
apartment units, 26,500 square feet of
retail, 25,400 square feet of creative office
space and a 165-room boutique hotel.
GeoStructures, Inc.
completed the
17,417 square feet of wall for the Wall in
the Woods project at Grosvenor Heights
in Bethesda, MD. Construction was
longer than a conventional highway
wall but saving the trees allowed the
forest to remain intact for the new
apartment complex.
