We are #ABCproud of our members
and all of their hard work in making
2015 a great year for ABC of Metro
Washington. With your help, we:
• Surpassed our goal to be 545 members
strong, strengthening the voice of
merit shop contractors in our region
• Renewed more than 90% of our
member firms’membership, for the
first time since 2003
• Successfully partnered with the Job
Opportunities Task Force’s JumpStart
program and helped Prince George’s
County residents train for career
opportunities in our industry through
ABC’s CraftMasters Training Trust
• Won a Best Practices Award from
ABC National for our ABC.XYZ young
professionals group
• Celebrated our Leadership Development
Program (LDP) graduates who are on
their way to leading our organization
and the industry in the future
• Had several ABC members and
staff appointed to State boards and
task forces, as well as the Maryland
Apprenticeship and Training Council
• Achieved the highest level of
accreditation as a High Performing
Chapter through the ABC National
accreditation process
