Monticello Homes in 1994
as a San Antonio area
custom
builder.
Since
then, the company has fine-tuned what
they do best, consistently building award-
winning homes in San Antonio’s best
master-planned communities that fill up
fast with happy home buyers. Monticello
Homes is a full-service builder, providing
all the architectural and interior design
and construction management on their
projects. Currently in the works for
Monticello Homes is the Garden Villas at
Bentley Manor, an age-targeted subdivision
of upscale, single-family garden homes.
Bentley Manor is part of an infill site
located in Shavano Park, a small, affluent
city surrounded on all sides by San Antonio,
north of downtown. Prominent San Antonio
land developer, Denton Communities,
acquired the land and brought on
Monticello to build roughly half of the
community’s properties.
All the homes in the Garden Villas at Bentley
Manor are zero-lot-line garden homes,
varying in size from 2,100 to 3,200 square
feet, on 65-foot-wide by 120-foot-deep lots.
“Our buyers here are typically empty nesters
and singles,” said Moravits. “We have had
a lot of interest in the project from local
home owners living in and around the area.
They want to stay nearby but are looking to
downsize.” For this community, Monticello
offers ten floorplan options in the $400k
