HOMEPAC
record-setting 18 local associations that
met or exceeded this challenge.
Your next opportunity to help fund
HOMEPAC will be at the annual Silent
Auction, held concurrently with the Texas
Housing Hall of Honor and Excellence in
Leadership Dinner on November 12th at
the Westin Austin Downtown. A call of
duty to donate items for the Silent Auction
was recently communicated to all local
associations. Please help your association
to participate strongly – whether by
donating to or bidding on auction items.
Any proceeds raised for the PAC will help
your local association reach its PAC goal
of $25 per member by the end of 2015.
In years past, the Silent Auction’s most
profitable auction items have been
anything from autographed NFL and
collegiate footballs to fishing and hunting
trips from the coast to Colorado and the
ever popular Kendra Scott jewelry, purses
and duffle bags.
To learn more about how HOMEPAC
allows TAB to financially support political
candidates in Texas that favor pro-
home building initiatives and to make
a contribution, visit TexasBuilders.org/
HOMEPAC. Your contribution helps to
maintain a positive business environment
for the home building industry in Texas.
A hearty thank you to our executive
officers, local association staff, and most
importantly, to our donors and volunteers
for all your hard work. We look forward
to you and your association’s participation
and support of the Silent Auction. Thanks
again for responding to our call to support
HOMEPAC this year and I know our next
PAC Chair will continue the successful
fundraising and engagement in important
political activities that have been a key
component to TAB’s many victories over
the years!
