Ron F. Formby, Antares Homes
Greater Fort Worth Builders Association – Fort Worth, TX
Ron Formby
was a leader in the housing industry as he served as Past
President of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association (1989) and earned
a Life Director status. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas
Builders Association. Statewide, he was Past President of the Texas Association
of Builders (1993) and a member of the Board of Directors. In addition, he
was the National Vice President for Texas to the National Association of Home
Builders for 1995-1996, on the NAHB Executive Committee, and in January of
1997 was installed as a Life Director to NAHB Board of Directors. Ron earned
the following NAHB designations: Certified Master Builder, Certified Graduate
Builder, Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging In Place Specialist.
Ron passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at his home with his beloved wife,
Pat, by his side. Ron’s name became just the 18
th
added to the prestigious Hall
of Honor Wall.
