on the ORA/ORAEF Board of Directors. They
discussed the challenges business owners
continue to face in the troubled economy.
Getz and members of his staff shared
with Hughes their concerns that lowered
consumer confidence continues to impact
the industry.
“It was wonderful to meet with Sen. Hughes
and actually get to sit down and talk with a
lawmaker about the issues and challenges
that we face as foodservice operators,” Getz
said. “Rarely do you get an opportunity like
that, but when you do, it’s great to take
advantage of it and it’s even better when you
realize that your concerns are being heard
and you feel like some changes may happen
because of it.”
