an active ProStart mentor to culinary
and management students in local high
schools. Cook currently resides in North
Wilmington with his wife and two sons.
Both of his sons have grown up working
in the restaurants. You can often find the
family camping and riding motorcycles.
Treasurer
SCOTT KAMMERER
Kammerer began serving on the DRA
Board in 2015. Kammerer is President
of the award-wining SoDel Concepts,
which consists of eight restaurants, a
catering company, and a food truck. SoDel
Concepts was named by Inc. Magazine as
one of the fastest growing companies in
America. In 2015 he was named Delaware
Businessman of the Year coupled with
SoDel awarded Delaware Superstar
in Business. He is also a founding
partner of Highwater Management and
HaleyKammerer Restaurant Consulting.
Kammerer was also an original board
member and co-founder of The Global
Delaware Fund which is dedicated to
providing goods and services to children
at risk in distressed situations. The Fund
provides essential services to children
& adults locally and throughout the
world. Scott has since started SoDel
Cares, another non-profit which focuses
its support and fundraising locally. New
projects include acting as executive
producer to SoDel Films, who recently
produced a video highlighting the
importance of Early Childhood Education
for children in Delaware.
Kammerer is also the Managing Partner of
Matts Homemade Soda, an artisanal soda
company creating chef-inspired flavors.
Kammerer is a former All-American
athlete, and current member of the New
Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame. He lives
in Lewes with his wife and their sons
three sons, who he actively coaches in
youth sports.
