to support pro-housing candidates
throughout this election cycle. Thanks to
everyone who participated in the event.
It will be August before we know it,
and we will for the second year meet at
the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. TAB’s
summer meetings will be held Tuesday,
August 2 through Friday, August 5. The
16 th Annual Sunbelt Builders Show™ will be
held Wednesday and Thursday, August 3–4.
The 3rd Annual HOMEPAC FUNdango
will be held Tuesday evening, and I expect
that we will have a record number of teams
vying for the coveted belt buckles and even
the 2 nd and 3rd place hardware! If you were
not a winner at your local HBA, please
buy-in to play at the FUNdango. To buy-in,

As always, we will have a condensed schedule
of TAB committee meetings so that you can
fully enjoy the time on the trade show floor
to visit the almost 300 exhibit booths that will
be present. We are excited that you have this
opportunity to talk with hundreds of long-
time vendors plus dozens of new Sunbelt
exhibitors. The Show continues to grow, and
your attendance is important so that we can
continue to offer you the chance to see more
and more products and services each year.
In addition to theOpening and twoGeneral
Sessions, seven terrific education sessions
will be held on the trade show floor. From
how to successfully market your business
to updates on critical regulatory issues,
these sessions will provide you with timely
and relevant information to help you grow
your business and stay compliant with
state and federal laws.
The week of the Show is a great
opportunity to visit with old friends and
enjoy new acquaintances from around the
state. From the Young Professionals Get
Together to the Star Awards Presentations
to the Board of Directors meeting that will
wrap-up the week, there’s lots to do and
something for everyone to take advantage
of. As we like to say, this is a great chance
to do a little business and have a lot of fun.

Now that spring is coming
to an end, the bluebonnets
have disappeared from
the Texas Hill Country,
and Spring Break is over,
it’s time to focus on the
upcoming TAB summer
board meetings and
Sunbelt Builders Show™.
First, I want to thank everyone who joined
us in San Antonio in March for TAB’s
winter meetings. We had a great turnout
at the historic Sheraton Gunter Hotel on
the Riverwalk. The two days of meetings
were very productive, and your TAB staff
came home to Austin ready to support the
directives of the membership.
The HOMEPAC fundraiser at TopGolf was
a lot of fun, and we raised thousands of
