Over 150 restaurant owners, operators and staff met at Deerfield Golf Club on February 10
th
for the annual DRA
Education Symposium. Governor Markell and State Treasurer Ken Simpler delivered keynote addresses, and speakers
presented information on a range of pertinent industry topics, from labor laws and the Affordable Care Act to minimum
wage increases and emerging technology in mobile payments and data security. The day also included a Trade Show
with industry vendors and a membership luncheon.
