Dear Dan,

On behalf of the staff and leadership of MAHBA I want to extend my sincere thanks to you and your staff for taking the first annual parade of homes to where it is today. While we were secretly hoping for 100+ plus homes we didn’t expect to reach the 161 entry mark.

E & M field personnel have been great to work with. They came here with a high level of expertise and professionalism and employed those to produce what we know will be an excellent event. Every action and decision they make is obviously dedicated to enhancing the overall event. In addition to knowing how to produce a successful Parade of Homes, Jason, Marc and the others understand the home building industry, the current market and our public. That is vital to making this work in a tight economy.

I am recommending to our board that they consider extending our current contract in such a fashion that we will always have a two year commitment to each other. I will also recommend that MAHBA and the North Mississippi HBA partner to host the Midsouth Parade of Homes for many years to come.

Dear Dan:

We looked at several companies to assist us with our first Parade of Homes. After our research, we found that E&M Consulting had the proven experience that we needed to help our association with our entire event. We confirmed that E&M Consulting had a great track record and had achieved excellent results for many other associations around the country.

After our board approved your company, we appreciate how you got right to work. Our goal for our first parade was to have the participation of approximately 80 entries. With your guidance and help you were able to sign 161 parade entries, 9 sponsors, 3 media sponsors saving us thousands of dollars.

Traffic during the show surpassed our expectations. We were hoping to increase our average traffic by 30-40%, but we actually increased customer traffic 50-100% or better. Our builders have been very complementary of our first parade and E&M Consulting for helping our association be successful with our first event.

There is a tremendous amount of planning and a lot of choices to be made when having a Parade of Homes. The first choice is to have a reputable company to consult with and knowledgeable people to help guide you toward a successful event. As the 2007 Chairman of the Mid South Parade of Homes for the Memphis Area Home Builders Association I highly recommend that the choice be E&M Consulting.
