4 www.ohiorestaurant.org Spring 2012 Issue

The ORAEF has over 2,100 students enrolled in the Ohio ProStart ® program for the 2011-2012 school year. These students need to have paid internships to earn their industry certification. We need your support today!

It’s Not Just a Job... You are helping support future careers! The Ohio ProStart Program is looking for good, dedicated, focused, committed, over-achieving business leaders who want to support the foodservice industry by working with Ohio ProStart students.

No Business Will be Turned Away… Ohio ProStart students are looking to work in a variety of businesses, including quick-serve, casual, fine dining, institutional,

catering and in hotel operations. Paying forward will “pay off” for the industry as you can cultivate the next generation of workers that could be serving in the foodservice industry. Think about it!

For Every Action, There is a Reaction... To get into the action with the Ohio ProStart schools, please contact the ORAEF today at (877) 442-9374. The ORAEF will respond by putting you in touch with an Ohio ProStart school in your area.

Free Advertising... The ORAEF will list your business as a Foundation supporter on our website and provide a web link to your business.

Always Get it in Writing... Students will begin their internship with a signed employment agreement with the name of a school contact to support you and the student. This will help make the internship a success.

Teach Your ProStart Students Well... Remember - you are training the student, and they are your legacy!

Go with the Gold… Keep in mind you are working with elite students enrolled in one of the premier foodservice and culinary arts training programs. We are Ohio ProStart – the gold standard program of the National Restaurant Association.

You Are in Charge… The ORAEF and the Ohio ProStart program are here to help you. We will provide you with an educated and trained workforce.

This Road Can Lead Anywhere… You are helping an Ohio ProStart student decide his or her path and future in the foodservice industry.
