Attend the 2012 Chairman’s & Industry Awards Event

The event will be held Jun. 10 in Toledo

Make plans to attend the 2012 Chairman’s & Industry Awards Event on Jun. 10, 2012 in Toledo. The event will honor incoming Chairman Roger Parker, Mancy Brother’s Catering, and thank 2010-2012 Chairman Lynn Brown, Outback Steakhouse, for her valued ORA leadership. During the event, ORA Industry Award winners will also be recognized for their dedication to the foodservice industry.

Chairman’s & Industry Awards Event Sunday, Jun. 10, 2012, 12:30 p.m. Grand Plaza Hotel, Downtown Toledo Cost: $65 per person

Additionally, there will be a networking event on Saturday, Jun. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo. Ticket price is $30 and includes museum admission and a reception catered by Mancy Brother’s Catering.

Mark Your Calendar for the 2012 ORA/NRA SAFE Golf Classic

Don’t miss this year’s outing on Jun. 18 at the New Albany Country Club

On Monday, Jun. 18, 2012 the Ohio Restaurant Association (ORA) will be hosting the 15 th Annual ORA/NRA SAFE Golf Classic at the New Albany Country Club in New Albany.

The prestigious, Jack Nicklaus-designed 27-hole course promises to be a stern test of golf for all participants. Plan now to attend a best-ball scramble and enjoy great prizes, great food and great friends all in support of the restaurant industry. Proceeds from the event are divided equally between the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Advocacy Fund and advocacy efforts here in Ohio. Last year, each received $28,000 to help fght legislation that negatively impacts foodservice.

Golf fees are $250 per person and include golf (cart and greens fees), breakfast, lunch, dinner reception catered by Carrabba’s Italian Grill and tournament gift. The tournament also features longest-putt, longest-drive and closest-to-pin contests. Sponsorship packages are available.
