Wendell C. Henderson
, 90, passed away January 17. He was a
director of
State Bank of Toulon
from January 1973 to January
2003. Henderson was a WWII veteran who then served as an
industrial arts teacher near St. Petersburg, FL and Orland Park, IL,
where he met his wife, Linda, who survives him and is currently a
director of the bank. He returned to his family farm in 1972 and farmed
until his retirement in the mid-1990s. Surviving along with his wife are sons
Christopher and Jeffrey, along with two granddaughters.
State Bank of Toulon has made a donation of $5,000 in Henderson’s
memory to the CBAI Foundation for Community Banking.

Ann Dove
, 76, wife of
Mike Dove
and mother of
Gwyn Helton of Shelby County State Bank, Shelbyville
, passed
away March 11 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she met her future husband.
She also attended Case Western Reserve School of Nursing. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by
sons Peter and Douglas Dove, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Deborah K. Crusen
, 52, died March 24 in Peoria. Crusen was an assistant cashier and electronic banking officer at
South Side Bank, Peoria
having been employed there for 35 years. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Crusen;
sons Patrick and Brandon Wikoff; stepdaughters Courtney Girdler and Lindsay Crusen; brothers Ronald and Donald
Shipp; and sisters, Diane Hill and Pam Moyer.
Daniel C. Salisbury
, 68, of Springfield, passed away March 26. Born in Olney, he was a graduate of Olivet Nazarene
University, Kankakee with a theology degree. Salisbury was a partner of
Midwest Office
in Springfield. He formerly
worked at the Eagle Bank in Rantoul; Tele-Save in Springfield; First National Bank, Springfield; DeMarco Office Supply;
and US Office Products. He is survived by his wife, Betty; brother, Robert; sister, Sharon Salisbury Floyd, step-children,
Darcy Combs and Jim Hopkins; and five grandchildren. Dan was the co-founder of the
Caddyshack Open
charity golf
outing; in 2011 the beneficiary of the event was the
CBAI Foundation for Community Banking.
